Born This Morn

     Born This Morn products are made by mixing whole fruits and vegetables in high speed blenders.  For Gaia's Green Nectar, we employ a 4-step blending process that takes a total of about 5 minutes to achieve the right consistency.  We blend our products as opposed to juice because we want to make sure that none of the fiber, minerals, or other nutrients are lost.  This is better for the consumer and also results in less waste. 

     Blending at very high speeds is also crucial because it breaks down the cell walls in our plant ingredients (e.g., celery, spinach, kale, chard, etc.) in order to unlock the full nutritional potential of our organic ingredients.  Additionally, the blending process creates a fine consistency that helps our bodies absorb the nutrients more effectively and efficiently.  Dark leafy greens are good for us, but it takes a tremendous amount of chewing and digestive work to break down the whole leaves.  Our blending process jump starts the process so that your body doesn't have to work so hard.
